JectManager is operated by Tabaconda LLC, a Florida limited liability company. JectManager is an independent educational platform providing free PMP® certification study resources. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI®).

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Account Information (Optional)

If you choose to sign in, we receive the following from our authentication provider (Authentik):

• Name and email address (from your account profile)
• A unique user identifier

Sign-in is optional. All study guide content, the formula reference, certification guide, and free demo quiz are accessible without an account.

2.2 Practice & Study Data

If you are signed in, we store:

• Practice exam scores and domain performance breakdowns
• Flashcard study sessions and spaced-repetition ratings
• PMI application data you enter (project descriptions, contact hours)

This data is stored on servers operated by Tabaconda LLC in the United States. It is used solely to provide your personalized study experience.

2.3 Analytics (Anonymous)

We use self-hosted Umami for web analytics. Umami is privacy-first:

• No cookies are used for analytics
• IP addresses are not stored — they are used only to determine country-level location and immediately discarded
• No cross-site tracking
• No data is shared with third-party advertising networks

2.4 Session Cookies

We use a single session cookie to maintain your signed-in state. This cookie is essential for the sign-in feature to function and is deleted when your session ends or you sign out. No advertising cookies are used.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate you and maintain your session
• To save and display your study progress, exam scores, and application data
• To improve the platform (via aggregated, anonymized analytics only)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purpose.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States (Virginia). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+). Access is restricted to Tabaconda LLC personnel only. We employ industry-standard security practices including encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security reviews.

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format
• Objection: Object to processing of your data

To exercise any of these rights, use our contact form. We will respond within 30 days.

These rights apply to all users. If you are located in the European Union or UK, you have additional rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR respectively. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under CCPA.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and study data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete all personally identifiable data within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked to any individual.

7. Third-Party Services

JectManager uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Authentik — self-hosted identity provider for authentication. No third-party authentication data leaves our infrastructure.
• Anthropic Claude — powers the AI Tutor feature. Messages sent to the AI Tutor may be processed by Anthropic. Do not send sensitive personal information to the AI Tutor. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — used to load the Inter typeface. Font requests are made to Google's servers. See Google's Privacy Policy.

8. Children's Privacy

JectManager is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately via our contact form.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of JectManager after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
